Part 1: The “True” Water
(Visual: Philipp Tunk at his desk, holding a generic beer mug or a picture of a bottle with a “Truebrew Märzen” label. He looks at it as if he’s trying to solve a math problem.)
NARRATOR (PHILIPP TUNK): “This is Üttinger Bier. Their slogan was ‘The True Water of Sirra,’ which is a bold claim to make in a valley that literally worshipped water. It’s like opening a shop in the middle of a desert and calling your sand ‘The True Floor.’
Founded in 65 AF by Manfred Pier Üttinger, it became the biggest brewery in the valley. They had 170 employees, including a Master Brewer named Susanne Maria Sirr’Kohl, who was apparently a ‘Koryphäe’—which I think is a fancy word for someone who can drink a pint without spilling it on their shoes.”

Part 2: The 5% Miracle (Interview)
(Visual: Tunk turns to his laptop screen to address the digital Dr. Vance.)
INTERVIEWER (PHILIPP TUNK): “Dr. Vance, I’ve seen the records. Üttinger was the only brewery allowed to make beer with more than 5% alcohol. Why? Was the Church worried that if the beer got any stronger, the people would start seeing gods that weren’t authorized by the official brochure?”
INTERVIEWEE (DR. ELIAS VANCE): “The Ecclesia Aeterni Fons held a strict monopoly on intoxication, Philipp. By limiting others to low-alcohol brews, they maintained social order. Üttinger only kept their 5% privilege because they were too popular to shut down, though the Church took massive amounts of the beer as a ‘tax’ in return.”
INTERVIEWER (PHILIPP TUNK): “So the Church was basically a giant, holy liver that processed everyone else’s profits. They even had a job called a ‘Nuntius’ whose only task was to argue with the priests about how much beer they could keep. It’s like having a lawyer specifically for your fridge.”
(Visual: Tunk nodding slowly. Reel Slice: “A lawyer specifically for your fridge.“)
Part 3: The Secret Cellar & Aunt Helga
(Visual: Tunk leaning in close, whispering to the camera.)
NARRATOR (PHILIPP TUNK): “But Üttinger had a secret. Because the Church was so greedy, the brewery built illegal basement rooms to sell their special ‘high-strength’ beers in secret. It was a literal underground pub.
My Aunt Helga says it’s exactly like when the doctor tells you to cut back on sugar, so you hide a stash of chocolate bars in the cistern of the toilet—it’s technically ‘tax-free’ because the authorities don’t look there, and it tastes better because it feels like a crime.
Eventually, the Church found out and tried to ruin them, but they survived for centuries. Which proves that in Sirratal, faith is temporary, but the need for a cold one is eternal.”
(Visual: Tunk stares into the camera for three seconds of awkward silence. Fade to the title card: SIRRATAL: THE LONELY NATION.)
